Vyne for WooCommerce
Vyne's WooCommerce plugin is designed to integrate effortlessly into your WooCommerce store, enabling you to offer instant account-to-account bank payments as a payment method to your customers. This guide provides the step-by-step process of installing the Vyne for WooCommerce plugin on your Wordpress website.
Before you get started
If you haven't already, please make sure you have signed up for a Vyne merchant account here .
The minimum requirements to use our plugin:
- PHP >= 7.4
- WooCommerce >= 8.0
- WordPress >= 6.0
Installing the plugin
- Download the latest Vyne for WooCommerce plugin pack.
- Login to your WordPress site.
- In the sidebar, hover over the Plugins option and click the Add New, then click the Upload Plugin button.
- Locate and select the .zip plugin pack you downloaded and click the Install Now button.
- Once the plugin has finished installing, click the Activate Plugin button if requested.
- In the sidebar, hover over option WooCommerce link and click the Settings option in the menu, then click the Payments tab.
- Find Vyne pay with bank in the payments table, and click the Manage button.
- Generate a key/secret pair to use as an access token, and enter the key in the Client Id field and the secret into the Client Secret field.
- Enter the settlement account code you wish to use in the Destination account field, then click the Save changes button.
- Find Vyne pay with bank in the payments table and click the toggle to enable Vyne as a payment method.
Setting up webhook notifications
It's important that you setup webhook notifications after installing the plugin to ensure your WordPress site receives payment status updates.
When setting up your callback URL, use the address of your WordPress site followed by /payvyne
. For example, https://yoursite.com/payvyne
.
- Payment status change callback URL:
https://{site}/payvyne
- Refund status change callback URL:
https://{site}/payvyne-refund
- Payer account details callback URL:
https://{site}/payvyne-payer
Be aware
You may need to use a different callback URL for your staging and production site, for example
https://yoursite.wpcomstaging.com/payvyne
andhttps://yoursite.com/payvyne
, depending on which site you're testing from. If you wish to test your checkout in a staging environment with simulated payments, you can use a sandbox Merchant portal account. Contact support to learn more.
Updating the plugin
- Download the latest plugin pack from this page.
- Login to your WordPress site.
- In the sidebar, hover over the Plugins option and click the Add New option, then click the Upload Plugin button.
- Locate and select the .zip plugin pack you downloaded and click the Install Now button. WordPress may alert "This plugin is already installed" and you will be prompted to approve.
- Click the Replace current with uploaded button.
Your plugin will be updated without changing any settings - make a payment to check the plugin has installed correctly.
